About Furry Purry Formby

After deciding to turn my life- long love of cats into a profession, I embarked on the iPET qualification in professional cat grooming and began volunteering at my local cat rescue centre; all of which has led me to launch Furry Purry Formby in 2025. 

Yes, it's true that cats do groom themselves, but through training as a professional groomer, I have learnt that long-haired, senior and arthritic cats all need extra support to keep their coats in good condition- and that's where I can help.  

Services such as nail trimming can prevent painful ingrown claws, while regular brushing helps avoid the development of knots that can lead to severe matting.

A full coat clip can give your cat a fresh start, allowing their coat to regenerate. When combined with a consistent  grooming routine, this helps restore their natural coat health.

Through my experience, I have learned that each cat is unique, with individual personalities and varying comfort levels with grooming. I approach each cat with patience, respecting their boundaries, and working with them to ensure a positive grooming experience.
